Established in 1930, Safety Co., Ltd. has been deepening its bond with customers based on safety and trust through the manufacturing and sales of hair care products,
as reflected in our company name "Safety".

Furthermore, our company emblem, the "Three Hair Marks", symbolizes three entities: salon partners, distributors, and our company itself.
These three parties unite under the common goal of serving our customers (end-users), aiming to create a circle (harmony) of prosperity together with our customers.
Continuously providing the highest satisfaction (impression) to our customers has been our company's founding philosophy.

From the perspective of our company philosophy "for the customer", we will continue to pursue unique product development.

OUR HISTORY

1930: Founder Takeo Okabe opened the Okabe Beauty Salon in Tokyo's Ginza district.
Before World War II, while managing five salons in Tokyo and others in Shizuoka and Shanghai, he also founded a wholesale business for beauty materials, which would later become the predecessor to Safety Co., Ltd.
He introduced permanent waves into the salon menu and developed a perm specifically for electric hair perming.
1947: Developed Japan's first cold permanent wave agent "Channelart".
1948: Developed Japan's first liquid shampoo "Lanre Shampoo".
1950: Developed Japan's first liquid hair coloring agent "Lanre Hair Color".
1959: Signed a technical partnership agreement with the French beauty specialist manufacturer, Paris Perma.
1977: Held the first Safety National Winding Contest.
1979: Released Permaedonil Tretoman E.
1982: Released Permaedonil Tretoman Parfait.
1988: Released the Grigio series.
1989: Moved the headquarters to Safety Beauty Center (Shibuya-ku Daikanyama-cho).
1994: Released the BESTOOL series.
2012: Launched the COCUU series.
2014: Launched the SAN&MONI series.
2018: Launched the Natsunoka series.
2019: Renewed and established Safety Co., Ltd.
Moved the Tokyo office to Higashi-Nakano, Shinagawa-ku.
2021: Launched the K.fix series.
2022: Launched the +hunt series.
